Author: Kathy East Dubowski

Publisher: POCKET BOOKS
Number of Pages: 113

Sabrina is just a regular teenage witch that leads the life of an average college kid. One day, she realizes that people are getting rude. People at the fast food place don't have any manners, Her roommates are driving her absolutely crazy, and the people at the coffee shop that she works with treat her with no respect. Walking around at a Medieval Faire with her cat, Salem, she wishes herself home, but ends up in the real Medieval ages and falls under the care of Arthur of Kensington Keep, knight in training. Arthur helps Sabrina look for her aunts but they are unsuccessful. Later, Arthur goes off to slay a dragon because the dragon is setting forests on fire. One time when Sabrina is trying to go home, someone sees her doing it and she and Salem are thrown in jail. In jail, she meets up with Marlin, an apprentice of the great Merlin. They know that it's only a matter of time before they're burned at the stake. They frantically search for a way to get free, but they don't.

Will Marlin and Sabrina get out before it's too late? If they do get out, will they find Sabrina's aunts? How will Sabrina get back home? Will Arthur be successful in slaying the dragon? Find out by reading this book.

The thing I liked that about this book is that it was a very fun to read and it was very interesting.

The thing I didn't like about this book is that it wasn't very long so it didn't take me very long to read it.

I would recommend this book because it was enjoyable and it had a few funny parts in it.

I think that kids ages 7-10 would enjoy this because it is fairly easy to read. Also, it would be sort of hard for younger kinds, and they might not understand it. Older kids might not enjoy it either because it might be too easy.

If you liked this book and are interested more in the medieval ages, you can go to the Colorado Renaissance Festival every year in Larkspur. Also, there is a movie called "A Kid in King Arthur's Court". (October, 2001)
