Movie Review of Unaccompanied Minors
Rated PG
Length: 90 minutes

By CK Movie Kid Indianna Price

Flight from guards If you've ever driven away from airport security guards in a luggage cart, you'll love the movie, "Unaccompanied Minors," from Warner Brothers. If not, you'll probably enjoy it anyway. Spencer and his sister are flying to their father's house but have to stop in the middle of their trip and switch planes. The duo then gets snowed in due to a blizzard and taken to the unaccompanied minors room, which happens to be in a state of total chaos.

Unaccompanied MinorsAmidst the chaos, Spencer and four other minors, Beef, Charlie, Grace and Donna escape. While Charlie sings karaoke, Grace gets a spa treatment, Spencer orders the "heart attack special", Beef rampages through the emergency supplies room and Donna steals a luggage cart. The airport security staff is searching high and low for the runaways.

When the five troublemakers are caught and returned, they find everyone, including Spencer's sister, has been taken to the lodge on the outskirts of the airport. This makes the group determined to escape again.

Will they make it to the lodge in time to give Spencer's sister her gift and save Christmas for everyone stranded at the airport? Or will they spend Christmas alone in a cold and cramped room? That is for me to know and you to find out!

I definitely enjoyed this movie more than "Happy Feet" and "Deck the Halls." I recommend this movie for ages five and up due to a slight amount of violence. (Dec. 8, 2006)
