Do you like Mario? If so, this new card game is for you!

Mario, recently starring in Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Party 5 and Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, is now in a card game, where you play with 2-4 friends in an awesome adventure. The object is to be the first to play a Superstar card!

Other cards in this game that will help you get a superstar card on the playing mat are: Coin Cards, Item Cards, Blocker Cards, Search Cards, Chaos Cards and Duel Cards!

Yet, no Mario game, card or video game, is complete without some kind of video game. If you have an E-Reader and a Game Boy Advance, you can scan E-Challenge Cards, which let you play awesome mini-games on your Game Boy! There are three types of E-Challenge Cards and they all play a part in the card game. They are: Free Challenge Cards, Wonder Challenge Cards, and Duel Challenge Cards.

There are 11 different Mini-Games you can play with your E-Reader.

The First is Cast Away Mario where you, playing as Mario, must catch the fish Princess Peach requests.
The next is called Mario's Mallet where, again, you play as Mario and try to kill the Goombas (the little things that annoy us SO much in every Mario game ever made) before they reach Princess Peach!
Then there is Daisy's Rodeo where you must keep Daisy (Princess Peach's friend) from falling off the saddle of a giant Bowser machine!
Next, you can play Fast-Feed Yoshi where you must collect coins using Yoshi's long tongue!
The game after that is Lakitu's Luck, where you can stop a spinning wheel and get something, depending on the outcome!
Then there's Spinster Bowser, Bolt from Boo, Time Bomb Ticks, Waluigi's Reign, Balloon Burst, and Wario's Bluff.

In short, the Mario Party E-Trading Card Game is a fun way to experience Mario like never before! So if it's a rainy day, get out some Mario cards and play E-reader games, or just play the card game with some of your friends! (June, 2004)
