World Tour Soccer 2003Title: Indiana Jones And the Emperors Tomb
Company: Lucas Entertainment
Type of Game: Adventure
System Requirements: XBox
Rating: Rating Pending

This game is the perfect gamers/ movie maniacs’ dream, it’s a perfect mix of an on going story and an action/adventure theme. It completely recreates every detail and weapon from the original Indiana Jones movies. This time, it’s completely enhanced with new moves and techniques, as well as a more modern game feel. You’ll have to master your trusty whip and pistol (and anything else you can get your hands on) in order to overcome evil henchmen, monstrous animals, treacherous traps, and even riddles and puzzles. I hope you’re ready to be the Ultimate Indy, because you’re going to be in the middle of these tremendous tales.

One of the things I didn’t like about this game was that half the time you were stuck in some place wondering what to do. Say all the bad guys are gone and you don’t know what to do, you have to try a whole bunch of things just to get where you’re going. I think they could at least tell you where to go. That way you just have to figure out how you’re going to get there unfortunately it didn’t give you either of those options. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not impossible, I just think that that could have been a little more obvious.

One of the things I really enjoyed was all the weapons and items, it was in a way like 007. All the things you could improvise. For example: I was being shot at by a machine gun and I couldn’t leave the wall because I would be blown to pieces, I threw a grenade and all was well. Things like that kept the game fun and interesting.

I would recommend this game for ages 10 and up. The fighting isn’t too intense,(there wasn’t any blood or gore), but it was enough that little kids shouldn’t play it. If this sounds good and you seem to like this genre, you might also want to try: 007 Agent under fire, Batman Vengence, Commandos 2, Conflict: Desert Storm, Crimson Sea, and Crimson skies.

I hope you enjoyed this game review. I also hope you have lots of fun with the best game I’ve reviewed, Indiana Jones and the Emperors Tomb. (May, 2003)
