Warbling penguins? What does warbling mean?

Warbling is like wavering singing and not often pleasant.

And what does this have to do with the new Warner Brothers® film, Happy Feet?

Everything.

Mumble is just your plain Emperor penguin, with one exception; he can't sing like other penguins, and singing is the only way an Emperor penguin can find a mate. Mumble sure can dance though.

Mumble is a natural reject and when he's "banished" from the penguin party, he finds himself chased by a lion seal. Then he winds up with five crazy penguins-- Ramon, Lomarado, Nestor, Rinaldo and Raul-- who all like his dancing and call him 'accidentally cool'.

The penguin elder Noah believes that Mumble's singing disability also drove off all the fish from their feeding grounds, while it's really the beings penguins call aliens. Mumble promises not to come back until he finds out what really scared off all the fish.

In my opinion Happy Feet was a very funny movie if you gets the jokes and puns. My favorite character by far was Ramon who was voiced by Robin Williams. I like Ramon especially for his views on Mumble's singing which he describes this way: "I heard an animal do that once; they rolled him over and he was dead."

I recommend this movie for ages five and up. If you liked Flushed Away you will love this movie. (Nov. 17, 2006)
