Title:
Beware Princess Elizabeth
Author: Carolyn Meyer
Publisher: Gullliver Books
Number of Pages: 224
Carolyn Meyer is in for it this time. In her book Beware Princess
Elizabeth you join Elizabeth from the day her father dies into
her future. This book is not like a diary so you don't have to listen
to what she did day after day but only the important events in her own
voice and views. You experience many characters in this book but of course
Elizabeth and her older sister Mary are the two main ones mentioned. But
this book isn't all the jewels and the glory. But the knots and desperation
that Elizabeth was put into and even sometimes got herself into. Elizabeth
starts out a young girl and grows into a woman. From a princess to a queen
she grows not only in physical changes but in many emotional changes.
She goes from palace to prison. Elizabeth changes your emotions too.
I would definitely recommend this book to ages 9 and up. Go buy it now! (December, 2002)
