Title:
Zillah and Me
Author: Helen Dunmore
Illustrator: None
Publisher: Disney Enterprises, Inc.
Pages: 147
In this interesting book, a tragic accident kills Katie's father. She and
her mother move to a tiny cottage by the seashore, renting the house from
Janice, an old friend of Katie's mother. Janice's daughter, Zillah, doesn't
like Katie. Because they are forced to spend time with each other, a friendship
blossoms. Katie learns a secret of Zillah's and Katie must help Zillah set
things right. I would recommend this book to grades 4th - 7th. One thing I
liked about this book was that it was very unique. I have never read anything
like this before. What I didn't like was... well, I liked everything about
it. Zillah and Me is a good book to read any day.
