Number of Pages: 150
The Nancy Drew mystery book, Secret of Shady Glen, was a book filled with mysterious maps, robberies, secret passage ways, and a dark secret that the cemetery of Shady Glen holds. As Nancy tries to uncover a lost fortune, she uncovers much more than she bargained for. Nancy and her friends put the clues together but what will they find?
I liked many things about this book. It definitely kept my interest throughout the story, often finishing a chapter with a "cliff hanger" and thus making me want read more. It was a book that had many interesting twists and turns in the plot that made it even more interesting to read and follow. I would highly recommend this book to kids because its a captivating story that makes you never want to put the book down. Kids 10-12 years old might enjoy the book. Although it is fairly long, it is not too complicated for kids to understand and read. Its a fun and exciting book that would interest most kids. If people liked this book (and others in the series) I would recommend the Hardy Boys mystery series.
